Being raised near Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Shalomi Momin fell in love with Dentistry when happenstance put her in an internship with a local dentist. When the internship came to an end a short time later, she completely re-wrote her future in medicine and chose to pursue her DDS at the University of Detroit Mercy.
She first studied biochemistry at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and graduated summa cum laude.
When not practicing dentistry, Shalomi is an avid tapestry weaver and supporter of the arts. Along with this, she can be found visiting her family in Texas and Georgia, or scouting out the new equipment at the gym.

JustWeaveIt_ is about bringing beauty, function, and artistic expression to everyday life through modern weaving. Weaving is all about creating something new by building upon what came before; our art exists because of tradition. By adding color, pattern, and texture to our work, we’re able to expand upon centuries-old traditions and create bold new designs for today’s fiber artists and art lovers.
